Philly, get ready for an electrifying night as Poetry vs. Hip-Hop returns with Philly-4! Hosted by 2024 Grammy-Nominated Spoken Word Poet Queen Sheba and Philly’s viral poetry sensation Jovan, aka The Poet Bul, this showdown promises a fierce clash between Team Philly and Team Baltimore.
Though Queen Sheba is Grammy Nominated, as of earlier this year, for her previous spoken word album, she's back with a powerful new project, CIVIL WRITES: The South Got Something to Say, a raw, emotional journey through the experiences of a mixed-black LGBT, adopted, homeless, girl transcending into womanhood. The night will be fueled by live performances from viral music sensation Jo Rivers and Philly's own Killa Wordsmyth. The lineup also features award-winning poets StephOx and Lexx Unapologetically, plus DJ Crowns spinning tracks all night long.
